A quick label check.

  • Use the Operator ID from your registration.
  • Put it on the main body, protected from damage.
  • Use clear block capitals taller than 3mm.
  • Make it visible outside, or accessible in a compartment without a tool.

Check the label after a repair, body-shell replacement or second-hand purchase. A tidy label is only useful if it identifies the current responsible operator.

The label and the settings are different tasks.

Do not copy the full contents of a RID setup screen onto a sticker. Use the CAA’s labelling instructions for the sticker and the manufacturer’s instructions for the electronic configuration.

Before sharing a setup photograph

Frame the picture around the fitting or error you need help with. Crop or cover registration details before posting it publicly. If the issue is the label itself, explain the layout with a dummy placeholder instead of sharing private account information.
